By accessing or using eqdomain.com and EQD Generator, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2The Service
EQD Generator is a free, browser-based parametric EQ generator for gaming headphones, created by Sir JayDomain and operated by EQDomain LLC (“we”, “us”). No account or payment is required. The service may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time without notice.
3Disclaimer of Warranties
EQDomain and all generated EQ settings are provided “as is” without any warranty. EQ settings are calculated based on publicly available headphone measurement data and game audio targets. Results will vary depending on your specific headphones, audio hardware, software, room acoustics, and personal hearing preferences. We make no guarantee that any setting will sound optimal for your setup.
4Hearing Health
Applying EQ changes the volume and frequency balance of your audio. Always start at a low volume when testing new settings and increase gradually. Prolonged exposure to loud audio can cause permanent hearing damage. You are responsible for managing your own listening levels. We are not responsible for any hearing damage resulting from the use of settings generated by this tool.
5Third-Party Software
EQD Generator generates settings for use with third-party software, including ReaPlugs (Cockos), Wave Link (Elgato), Sonar (SteelSeries), and Dolby Atmos. These applications are independent of EQD Generator and EQDomain LLC and subject to their own license agreements. We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party software. Game names and other trademarks shown on eqdomain.com belong to their owners. EQD Generator and EQDomain LLC are not affiliated with or endorsed by Activision, Cockos, Dolby, Elgato, Microsoft, SteelSeries or any game publisher.
Headphone measurement data is fetched directly from public Squig.link mirrors and AutoEQ (jaakkopasanen/AutoEq). We do not control these sources. The accuracy of any EQ depends on the underlying measurement.
6Intellectual Property
Game-specific EQ target curves, tutorial content, the EQD Generator codebase, and original artwork on eqdomain.com are the property of EQDomain LLC. You may use generated EQ settings for personal use, including in streams or videos. You may not republish, redistribute, or sell EQD Generator itself, the target curves, or other original content without permission.
7Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EQDomain LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of this site or the EQ settings it generates. This includes but is not limited to hearing damage, audio hardware damage, or software malfunction.
8Donations
Support through Ko-fi is entirely voluntary. Donations do not entitle you to any additional features, services, or content. All donations are processed by Ko-fi and subject to their own terms and privacy policy. Donations through Ko-fi go to Sir JayDomain, the creator of EQDomain, not to EQDomain LLC. They are entirely voluntary and never required.
9Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Nothing in them takes away a right that the consumer law where you live gives you.
