Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
EQDomain is a free tool created by Sir JayDomain. This Privacy Policy explains what information eqdomain.com collects, how it is used, and what choices you have. We are committed to collecting the minimum data needed to keep the site working and never selling your information.
1. Quick summary
- No accounts. No email signups. No contact forms.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and understand which games and platforms are popular. This involves cookies.
- Cloudflare protects the site from attacks and helps it load quickly. Cloudflare may briefly process your IP address.
- When you select a headphone, your browser fetches measurement data from public Squig.link mirrors directly. We don’t proxy this.
- A banner on your first visit lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. You can change your choice anytime via the “Privacy Choices” link in the footer. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.
2. Information collected automatically
When you visit eqdomain.com, the following may be collected:
IP address — your IP is briefly seen by Cloudflare (our content delivery network) and our web server in order to serve pages to you. Server logs are kept short-term for security and abuse prevention only. Cloudflare retains its own logs per its privacy policy.
Browser type, version, language, and operating system — sent automatically by your browser so the site can render correctly.
Pages and tools used — Google Analytics records which pages you visit, approximate geographic region (country / city level), and which game, platform, and headphone you select in the EQDomain tool. This is aggregated for analytics; no personal identifiers are sent.
Referral source — if you arrived from a link (such as YouTube), the referring URL is logged.
3. Information you provide
We do not currently collect anything you provide. There are no accounts, no comment forms, no email signups, no contact forms.
If you support us through Ko-fi, your payment is processed entirely by Ko-fi. We never receive your card or banking details.
4. Cookies
EQDomain itself does not set its own cookies. The following third-party cookies may be set when you visit:
Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_VDS6DMZKK5) — anonymous usage analytics, lifespan up to 1 year. Set by googletagmanager.com / google-analytics.com.
Cloudflare (__cf_bm, __cflb, cf_clearance) — bot detection, security, load balancing. Short-lived (30 minutes to 30 days). Set by Cloudflare.
YouTube — tutorial videos are embedded using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). No tracking cookies are set unless you click play on a video. If you do play a video, YouTube and Google may set cookies according to their own privacy policies. Lifespan variable, set by Google.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect site performance but will not prevent you from using the EQDomain tool.
5. Third parties
We use the following third-party services to deliver the site. Each has its own privacy policy:
Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics. We do NOT use Google Analytics advertising features, remarketing, or signals tied to user identity. policies.google.com/privacy
Cloudflare — content delivery and security. cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
YouTube — embedded tutorial videos via the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain (no cookies until play). policies.google.com/privacy
Ko-fi — donation processing (only if you choose to donate). ko-fi.com privacy
Squig.link mirrors — your browser fetches headphone measurement files directly from public Squig.link community sites when you select a headphone. We do not control these third parties.
6. Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area (GDPR), the United Kingdom (UK GDPR), or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a regulator.
Because we do not store personal information tied to you, there is typically nothing for us to delete on request. However, you have the following easy ways to control how your data is collected:
Cookie consent banner. On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the page lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are denied analytics by default until they explicitly accept (GDPR-compliant opt-in). Visitors elsewhere have analytics enabled by default and can opt out at any time.
Privacy Choices link. The “Privacy Choices” link in the footer of every page lets you change your decision at any time, regardless of what you chose before.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). EQDomain honors the GPC browser signal. If your browser sends GPC, analytics is automatically denied without showing a banner. GPC is supported natively by Brave, DuckDuckGo, and Firefox (with the “tell websites not to sell or share my data” setting), or via privacy extensions in other browsers.
- Additionally, you can disable Google Analytics tracking globally using the official browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Configure your browser to block cookies entirely
- Contact us at the address below with any specific concern
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. EQDomain does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or for any other monetary or valuable consideration. Rejecting analytics via the banner, footer link, or GPC signal satisfies opt-out requirements under California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Virginia (VCDPA), and other state privacy laws.
7. Data retention
Server logs are kept short-term (typically 30-90 days) for security and abuse prevention. Google Analytics retains aggregated event data per Google’s standard retention settings (default 14 months).
8. Children
EQDomain is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has used EQDomain and you have concerns, contact us.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted with an updated “Last updated” date at the top.
